Inspired by her love of colour, the jewellery that Teiko creates, exemplified by her enamelled works. At the same time, her work is influenced by natural forms characterized as it is by Teiko's usage of symbolic motifs.

Teiko was born in Japan, she moved to the UK in 1992 and studied jewellery, enamelling and silversmithing in London. From 2008 onwards, she has been active in both London and Tokyo.
